1. Access the Swap Interface:

   Start by navigating to the SmarDex "Swap" panel from the menu
   
   
   
   

    

2. Connect Your Wallet:

   Click on 'Connect Wallet'.
   Choose your preferred wallet (e.g., MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet) from the list and connect it to the platform.
   
   
    
   
    

3. Select your Tokens and Amount:

   Select the chain and token you want to swap from your wallet and ensure you have enough balance to cover the transaction and gas fees.
   Smardex enables cross-chain Swap, so you may select a different output chain. Choose the token you wish to acquire,  and specify the amount for the swap.
   
   
    
   
    

4. Switch network

   Depending on your selected token you want to swap from, you may have to change your network for the corresponding chain.
   
   
   
   

5. Preview and Approve the Transaction:

   Click on the "Swap" button to preview your Swap. 
   For new tokens, you might need to approve the token’s smart contract. Click on 'Approve', set the spending limit, and confirm the approval on your wallet.
   
   
    
   
   
   

6. Confirm and Execute the Transaction

   Click on the "Confirm Swap" and confirm the transaction on your wallet to execute the swap.
   You will be notified of the transaction status.
   Note : Cross-chain transaction may take a bit longer due the a more complex protocol
